Welcome
A Journey of Connection and Growth
I’m a compassionate therapist specializing in marriage and family therapy, dedicated to helping individuals and couples build stronger, more fulfilling relationships. My journey into this field was inspired by a deep desire to support people as they navigate the complexities of connection, communication, and healing. I believe that every person deserves a safe space to explore their emotions, uncover their strengths, and work toward meaningful change. Central to my approach is empathy and building a strong therapeutic alliance with my clients. I believe this trust and connection are key to creating lasting change and achieving success in therapy. Together, we can address the challenges holding you back and create a path toward deeper understanding, growth, and resilience.
My Story
Education and Expertise
I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a focus on Couples Therapy from National University. With extensive training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Gottman Method Couples Therapy, I bring an integrative and tailored approach to each session. As a certified Gottman Leader, I remain committed to staying updated with the latest research to provide my clients with exceptional care.
A Culturally Informed Approach
As a South Asian therapist, I understand the unique challenges of balancing traditional values with modern relationships. My culturally sensitive approach helps clients navigate intercultural dynamics, immigration-related adjustments, and family expectations with empathy and understanding.
Creating Inclusive Spaces
I am proud to be an LGBTQ+ ally, offering a safe, affirming space for individuals and couples of all orientations, gender identities, and relationship structures, including non-monogamous partnerships. Everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, and supported on their journey toward emotional well-being.
Finding Your Inner Strength
There’s a quote that resonates deeply with me: “The devil whispered in my ear, ‘You can’t withstand the storm.’ Today, I whispered in the devil’s ear, ‘I am the storm.’” This powerful message reminds me of the strength we all have within us, even in our darkest moments. My mission is to help you find that strength—to connect with your inner storm and harness it to overcome challenges, rebuild confidence, and create a life of meaning and fulfillment.
