Psychotherapy Approaches and Modalities

Individual
Counseling

In individual counseling, we draw on a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you navigate your unique challenges. CBT is effective in identifying and changing negative thought patterns, empowering you to break free from cycles of anxiety, depression, and self-doubt. EFIT helps you explore and understand your emotions, fostering self-compassion and emotional regulation. IFS focuses on understanding and integrating different parts of yourself, promoting healing from past trauma and helping you build a stronger sense of self. Together, these approaches provide a holistic framework for growth, healing, and lasting change.

Family
Counseling

In family counseling, we use a combination of emotionally focused family therapy (EFFT), structural therapy, and cognitive-behavioral family therapy (CBFT) to address the unique dynamics within your family. EFFT helps to strengthen emotional bonds and promote secure attachments between family members, encouraging vulnerability and understanding. Structural therapy focuses on understanding family roles, hierarchies, and boundaries to create healthier patterns of interaction. CBFT targets thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to conflict, helping family members develop more effective communication and problem-solving strategies. Together, these approaches provide a comprehensive framework to address the underlying issues, promote healing, and build lasting, positive changes within the family.

Couples
Counseling

In couples counseling, we integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method to help couples build stronger emotional connections, improve communication, and resolve conflicts effectively. EFT focuses on identifying and transforming emotional patterns that hinder connection, fostering secure attachment and deeper intimacy. The Gottman Method offers practical tools and strategies to improve communication, enhance conflict resolution, and build a strong foundation of trust and respect. When working through infidelity, we use the attachment injury model to help couples heal the deep emotional wounds caused by betrayal, rebuild trust, and restore emotional safety. Our approach is tailored to meet your unique needs, guiding you toward a more fulfilling and resilient relationship

Narcissistic Abuse Recovery

Our approach combines trauma-informed therapies and positive psychology to help you heal from narcissistic abuse and rebuild your sense of self. We use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to challenge harmful beliefs and break cycles of self-doubt, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to foster emotional resilience, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to heal fragmented parts of yourself affected by manipulation. Incorporating positive psychology, we focus on your strengths, cultivate self-compassion, and promote growth and hope. Our goal is to empower you to set healthy boundaries, rebuild self-worth, and reclaim your emotional well-being, leading you toward lasting healing and freedom.
